Preschool, Elementary, Pre-teen & Teen Aquarium Week |
|
|
|
| During
week seven of the Paws,
Claws, Scales and Tales Summer Program, the preschool-aged children
heard stories about
various animals that live in aquariums, like mice, fish, and
lizards. They also created their own goldfish with shiny scales
and drew creatures to fill their coloring page aquarium habitat.
The elementary children also took part in the aquarium theme by painting
various sun catchers of dolphins, fish and other nautical
creatures.
During the elementary class, an Animal Angels Rescue representative arrived with Brandy, a female terrier, that is up for adoption. During the visit, the shelter representative also picked up the library patrons' generous contributions of dog and cat supplies. |
