Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Mount Pleasant Public Library

The Friends of the Mount Pleasant Public Library is a volunteer organization established in the spring of 2008 to support literacy programs. The goal of the organization is to enrich lives by actively supporting the library.

Fundraising activities include two annual used book sales and a fall fundraiser.

Through these efforts we are able:

  • to support children’s programs and literacy
  • to expand and update the permanent collection with a monthly donation
  • to purchase needed equipment

If you would like to participate in this worthy cause, sign up at the library or attend one of the meetings.

The group meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the library, located at 120 S. Church St., in Mount Pleasant.
