Donate directly to the Mount Pleasant Free Public Library
Memorial or Tribute book Donation
Dedicating a book to our library collection is a caring and thoughtful way for you to honor an individual but it’s also an opportunity to celebrate joyous occasions such as a birthday, holiday, wedding, anniversary, graduation, a promotion or a special achievement. Each book donation includes a personalized bookplate with the name of the donor and the person being recognized. You may specify a subject matter or our staff can select a book for an area of our greatest collection need.
Buying an engraved plate on our Partners or Ambassadors Donor Boards that hang in the library. Application and more information on this opportunity coming soon.
Volunteer directly at the library or join our FRIENDS of the library group.
Donation of Items
The library has items that we regularly use that the community can donate to support us.
- Paper Towels
- Disinfecting wipes
- Printing Paper
We recycle ink cartridges and old cell phones to make a few dollars and keep these items out of the landfill. The dropbox is in our lobby.
Donations of eyeglasses can be added to the Mt. Pleasant Township Lions Club box.
Questions about any of these opportunities can be answered by the Library Director by calling 724-547-3580
